About HollyWoof

Hollywoof to the Rescue was founded in 2012 by Rachel Lamb, and became a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization in 2016.

Located in Los Angeles, Hollywoof is focused on fighting the epidemic of pet overpopulation by providing access to free spay and neuter, humane education, community outreach to the underserved and homeless population, and activism for animal welfare reform. Whereas most animal-related organizations are primarily rescue groups who save as many animals from the shelter or off the streets as possible, Hollywoof’s directive is unique and serves to fill a void that has yet to be filled; in other words, while most nonprofits are doing their best to clean up the problem, Hollywoof is seeking to fix the problem before it becomes one.

We are seeking the following partnerships:

  • Veterinarians and animal hospitals who will consider providing us with a discounted and competitive rate for the following services:
    • Spay/Neuter (for dogs ranging from 5lbs-100lbs)
    • Vaccinations, such as Bordetella and DHPP
    • Rabies certification
    • Microchipping
  • Businesses who will donate commonly needed supplied for dogs/cats, as well as unsheltered humans, from food to toiletries to tents
  • Organizations who provide housing to the homeless, to create relationships where we can refer our clients to seek shelter- of particular focus, organizations who will house their pets as well with Hollywoof providing for all necessary vet records, kennels and Emotional Support Animal certifications
